Current Resonance is a Denmark-based composer/performer ensemble made up of Dylan Richards, Joss Smith, Matthew Grouse, and Michael Hope. Since 2019 they have put on nearly 50 events, comprising unique programmes of music almost exclusively composed within the last 15 years. Their approach involves holistic curation where each aspect of the event experience is composed with and threaded into the overarching event concept.
Their curated activities span, amongst other things, nights at the cinema; online and physical community building and participation; tightly knit programmes of acoustic and digitally mediated music; concerts boasting invented genres; instrumental theatre; installation art; and platforming / producing the work of up-and-coming artists.
