Through musical displays of words and sounds the Danish composer Kirstin Fogh Vindelev explores complex conditions and systems. With her documentary approach, field recordings and transcriptions of these she examines darkened and parallel societies. Her work is often based on a need to break the normalized, the familiar and harmonious. She challenges our inherent associations and expectations of a place, a material and a form.
