Intrigued by natural sciences and fascinated by the mechanisms of everyday life, Kjersti Alm Eriksen works somewhere between product design and art. By delicately combining basic materials with existing shapes and objects, she creates an educational, entertaining and suggestive world of small machines, satisfying movements and weird objects. They all have a button, a switch, something to pull or something to rotate - and they all need the interaction to realise their full potential.
