Olga Szymula

Olga Szymula is a composer based in Aarhus, Denmark. Her works take forms in concerts, records, film scores, audio-visual installations and performances. She is the author of the interdisciplinary composition “Mon”, the electro-opera "Lapses' and sound installations and performances like: 'Dwellers', 'national song', or 'Contact'.
She wrote scores for the films 'Baba Vanga' and “The Scream of a Siren” by Aleksandra Niemczyk and created scores for the dance performances “Gravity”, “PRIMUS” and “Bang Bang-Collective Matters” by Svalholm Company. Szymula released albums at labels: nomadic island, Escho and Bołt records.
Olga Szymula holds an MA in electronic composition at Danish Institute of Electronic Music, Denmark.
